URCA Poster Awarded Alabama Power Innovation Grant!

Clare, Charles, Vanessa (not pictured as she had class), and I were awarded the Alabama Power Innovation Award for their poster at the URCA research conference a few weeks back. Congrats all!

We had a very nice awards lunch with all the other conference winners (Biology did very well!) at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

We will be able to propose a small extension to the work to improve the data set and will receive some, as yet unknown amount, of money thanks to Alabama Power! Thanks to AL Power and congratulations to the students.
